Queanbeyan-Palerang

The Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council area is located in south-eastern New South Wales, between 10 and 100 kilometres east of the Canberra CBD, and between 250 and 280 kilometres south-west of the Sydney CBD. The Council area encompasses a total land area of about 5,300 square kilometres. Rural land is used mainly for sheep and cattle grazing, orchards, nurseries, crop growing, honey production and vineyards. Tourism is also an important industry.

Corang Arch is a spectacular sandstone rock arch in the central Budawangs. It can be visited as part of a longish day walk, or alternatively, as an overnight walk camping in the vicinity of Canowie or Burrumbeet Brook.
Saddle Camp is a tiny house for horse riding in Braidwood, New South Wales, Australia. Rent a tiny house accommodation in Braidwood, NSW Australia.
The lookout at the summit which is your destination provides excellent views over the NSW city of Queanbeyan but given the shape of the hill and the treed slopes, views from the summit aren’t only where this walk really shines – views provided on the way back down are superb.
