Georges River

The Georges River Council area is located in the southern suburbs of Sydney, about 15-17 kilometres from the Sydney CBD. The Georges River Council area is predominantly residential, but also has substantial industrial, commercial and recreational areas. The Council area encompasses a total land area of about 40 square kilometres, including waterways and large areas of open space, mainly along the Georges River.

OW Jubilee Oval, also known as Kogarah Oval, is a multipurpose stadium in Carlton, Sydney, Australia. The stadium is primarily used for rugby league and is the home of National Rugby League (NRL) team St. George Illawarra Dragons. The oval has also hosted soccer matches, including hosting Sydney Olympic FC during the 2003–04 National Soccer League (NSL) season.

The Hurstville Aquatic Leisure Centre incorporates a gym and indoor stadium that provide a wide range of fitness and sporting activities for the community. A café is also available to patrons along with a creche that provides child care to patrons while they utilise the facilities at the centre.
