North Burnett Regional

The North Burnett is located in Queensland, approximately four hours drive north of Brisbane and one hour west of Bundaberg. The region encompasses six main townships - Biggenden, Eidsvold, Gayndah, Monto, Mt Perry and Mundubbera which service around twenty-five villages and farming catchments.

Camp or picnic amongst the eucalypt forest near the edges of Wongi Waterholes. Relax by the waterholes observing the abundant wildlife.
A circular walk, that takes a steep climb the Giant's Chair lookout and then down to Fern Tree Pool and back along Doctors Gully. An ever changing environment from boulder to eucalypt to rainforest.
Mt Perry. The walk up to the tree line is the hardest part. About 1km , constantly going up, in the sun and warmth of the morning really takes it out of you. The track through the trees and up to the peak is quite a good one and anyone who enjoys a good bush walk should have no problem reaching the peak. Once there the views are fantastic.
