Ku-ring-gai

Ku-ring-gai is located in Sydney’s norther suburbs. The area includes 17 suburbs, 6 local centres and one town centre and refers to itself as the “green heart” of Sydney. The area boasts more than 150 bushland reserves, Blue Gum High Forest, Sydney Turpentine Ironbark Forest, three adjoining National Parks (Ku-ring-gai Chase, Garigal and Lane Cove) and a visually significant tree canopy.

Lane Cove National Park is a beautiful pocket of bushland that sits on either side of the peaceful Lane Cove River. It's in easy reach for Sydneysiders, extending from East Ryde to Pennant Hills and West Chatswood.
Wahroonga Park and its excellent playground ticks all the boxes. It is the perfect park for toddlers, pre-schoolers and early teens. Enclosed, with new equipment, it is a haven for parents and carers, and a paradise for the little ones.
Ku-ring-gai Chase is the second oldest national park in Australia, it’s heritage-listed so it combines history with natural beauty including rainforests and mangroves which sit by stretches of ocean. There are more delightful waterside picnic spots here, including Apple Tree and Bobbin Head.
