Sutherland Shire

Inhabited by the Dharawal people, The Sutherland Shire boasts some of Sydney's finest beaches, national parks and spectacular waterways. Located only 25km's from Sydneys CBD and 20 minutes from Sydney Airport. "The Shire" is one of Sydneys best kept secrets.

In the national Park, Wattamolla Beach is home to a stunning lagoon, a secluded beach and a spectacular waterfall. A great picnic to set up for the day. It is accessible by car from Audley via Sir Bertram Stephens Drive and Wattamolla Road, or from Waterfall train station via McKell Avenue onto Sir Bertram Stephens Drive.
The scenic Cronulla Beach walk is a 6km trail along the popular Cronulla Peninsula. The trail from Dunningham Park to Bass & Flinders Point is completely paved. The ocean views are constant with plenty of rock pools, parks, playgrounds and cafes on the walk.
PointsBet Stadium (Shark Park) is the home ground of the Cronulla Sharks Rugby League team. In 2016, the Cronulla Sharks won their maiden premiership which brought pandemonia to locals. The stadium is now home to a new and popular commercial-retail precinct with units, dinning and popular shopping centres.
